

The philosophy of the estateIn order to synthesize the spirit within which we work, we have described briefly below the components that are key to our estate as well as the efforts we have employed over the last five years, infused with passion and vigor. The viticultural componentMaybe it isn't necessary to state the obvious, but that so true: the best wine comes from harvesting the grapes are picked at optimum maturity. It is therefore, absolutely essential to great though to the need of the vine and to ask the right questions in order to put into effect: : • Removal of earth, shoots and leaves to understand the plant physiology (know what it needs and when). • Selective treatment of all phytosanitary problems. • Prunning to control yields. We employ a modern approach and are convinced that the progress we over the last few years which allow us to focus on the aromas and We are convinced that this modern approach to controlling yields over the past few years has rewarded us with wines with concentrated aromas and incomparable finesse. The vinicultural componentWe are fortunate enough to work in collaboration with one of the most highly respected oenologists in France, Mr. Jean-Pierre Rodolphe Lédé. With 25 years of experience and a reknown expertise, he shares his knowledge and consults all over the world and with the most prestigious properties in Burgundy. Obviously with his trained eye, nose and palate, we can coax the best from each vintage. ![]() The commercial componentOur demanding approach to our vines and in the cellar, extends to the way we chose our professional partners so that they will reflect well on our estate. Across the different countries where we export (Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Québec, Sweden …), we work with partners of quality with whom we merchandise 85,000 bottles between France and abroad. Very succinctly here is what we love to do every day and hope to continue doing for years to come as we strive for excellence. |
